My journey into the world of sustainable insect management and bee conservation began during my freshman year of high school, ignited by a research project within my ecology unit in Biology class where I researched the profound impact of pesticides, specifically investigating the detrimental effects of neonicotinoids on honeybee populations. This rigorous study unequivocally revealed the devastating consequences these prevalent chemicals have on our vital pollinators.

It was this realization that fueled my passion and motivated me to develop a truly bee-safe alternative to conventional commercial insecticides. To further immerse myself in this critical issue and gain firsthand appreciation for these incredible creatures, I embraced the hobby of beekeeping.

Beekeeping Journey

My beekeeping journey began when I connected with a remarkable community of stingless beekeepers in Thailand. This group, "Bang Nam Pheung Stingless Bee Large Farm Group" — is a collective of agricultural professionals and organic farm owners. Located in the Bang Nam Pheung area, renowned for its commitment to nature conservation and eco-tourism, this community passionately advocates the vital role of stingless bees, which are essential pollinators in tropical ecosystems and produce unique, medicinal honey.

Learning directly from the community's experienced beekeepers, I immersed myself in the comprehensive fundamentals of beekeeping. I gained hands-on experience in essential practices, from daily bee care to the intricate process of honey extraction and the careful separation of beehives to establish new colonies. This experience profoundly deepened my understanding of sustainable practices and the delicate balance of pollinator health.
